ELTE TáTK - Faculty of Social Sciences

The ELTE Culture Club invites you to their upcoming Panel Talk @ELTE TáTK on "BRICS and the New Geopolitics: From Unipolarity to an Emerging Multipolar Order"

Is the global order entering a new phase?
Join them at Eötvös Loránd University for a panel discussion exploring one of the most important debates in international relations today: As the global balance of power continues to evolve, platforms such as BRICS are increasingly shaping conversations on economic cooperation, global governance, and security. From financial initiatives like the New Development Bank to broader geopolitical dynamics across the Indo-Pacific and beyond, these developments raise important questions about the future structure of the international system.

This panel discussion will explore how emerging coalitions, established institutions, and regional powers interact in shaping twenty-first-century geopolitics and what these shifts may mean for global stability and cooperation.

Date & Time: 20 April (Monday), 2026, at 14:00

Location: ELTE Faculty of Social Sciences, Room 2.139
